This picture was shot from the zipcar my friends and I were in, at about 2am the morning after Thanksgiving. We literally inched along the highway, and was stuck in this trafic jam for a grand total of 3 hours...Perhaps it's a sign of old age when one can patiently sit in the car, constantly tapping between the accelerator and the brake for 180 mins. My four friends and I were part of the crazy group of people who would do a crazy thing like wait 3 hrs in traffic just to get a few bucks off our purchases, on the biggest sale day in America, "Black Friday". The shops at Wrentham Outlet, about 50 mins south of Boston, opened at midnight and while we left Boston at around 0030hrs, I only got out of the car at 0500hrs! Crazy lah!

It would've been faster for my friends to walk to the outlet, but it was way too cold to walk outside, so we just chatted in the car to pass the time.

I actually saw the sunrise when dawn broke in the morning. The sky was purple and orange, and the sunlight was beautiful. It was BRRRRRRRRR very cold!

Seagulls attacking some food left on the road. The flock against the morning sky and cold winds was pretty surreal.
Conclusion: Once is enough, I will never do it again. It was good to get "early bird" discounts and to experience Black Friday sales just once...but sitting in the car for almost 5 hours is insane!
